A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Welcome to Remington United Methodist Church! We are a friendly-multicultural community of believers dedicated to making disciples for Christ through children’s education, children’s ministry, community engagement, and the arts. Founded in 1872, Remington UMC has a rich history of being a beacon of Christ in Fauquier County.

Our current ministries include:

•   Providing backpacks and school supplies for M.M. Pierce Elementary School

•   Children’s Sunday school lessons on Facebook

•   Confirmation Program for Middle School age youth

•   Quarterly Bible studies

•   Sponsors of the Remington Mini-Pantry

•   The annual Old Time Easter Faire

•   The Remington Health Fair

•   The Remington Community Garden

•   The Prayer Shawls and Wears Group

•    The Remington Community Art Show and Sale

•    Supporting Heifer International

•    Operation Samaritan’s Purse

•    A Living Nativity

Our doors are open to all who desire to learn and grow in their relationships with Christ. We are dedicated to the words of the Jewish Shema:  "Here, O Israel:  The LORD our God, the LORD is One. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."

Come and join us as we move forth in missional engagement with our community. We look forward to seeing you in worship.

Grace and Peace,

Rev. Dr. Donald (Don) E. Williams, DMin, MDiv, B.A., GWCPM
