ONGOING MONTHLY -- GENEALOGY CAFE
2 PM - 5 PM --
On 20 April 2024, meet DAR Registrar Gail Watson from the Fauquier Courthouse Chapter of the National Society. She will demonstrate how to use the DAR website to conduct research, to apply for membership, and to learn if your ancestor has proven Patriot status.
FREE monthly Genealogy Cafe in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
The Cafe is open to all regardless of level of experience. Whether you're new to genealogy, working on your family tree, or just interested in connecting with other genealogists. Jump in at any time. Light refreshments! Presenters: Birgitte Tessier, Virginia Genealogical Society; Pastor Steve Little, Trinity United Methodist Church. The RUMW are planning their annual YARD SALE for 1 June. It's not too early to start cleaning out the spare room, attic, basement or garage and donate items to the ladies. As devoted members of REMINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, we are constantly pursuing the calling to be fully devoted followers of Christ. To build a true heaven on Earth, we live life based on the teachings of the Bible, are passionate about prayer and are grounded in spiritual accountability. If you are interested in joining our Church, please reach out. We would love for you to visit us, our Remington Community Garden across the street, our Little Free Pantry, Little Free Fridge, Little Free Veggie Wagon, and Little Library, all put in place to help the community of Remington!
