There’s Always Something Going On
Genealogy Cafe

Join us in the church's Fellowship Hall wing for this FREE event whether you're new to genealogy, working on your family tree, or just interested in connecting with other genealogists. Jump in at any time. This 3rd Cafe event will be a workshop, so bring your notes, laptop computer or tablet! Classes will also be held on future Saturdays: 20 January, 17 February, and 16 March 2024. (No December 2023 class.) Light refreshments! Presenters: Birgitte Tessier, Virginia Genealogical Society; Pastor Steve Little, Trinity United Methodist Church. You're encouraged to join the Men's Group and get involved in several annual events such as the Chili Cook-Off, Trunk or Treat, Ham Dinners, and other special events. Meetings are held at the church in the Fellowship Hall wing. Contact the church office for dates and times.

Meetings rotate among members' homes, so please call the church administrative assistant for upcoming meeting locations, dates, and times. The Women's Group has several community outreach activities to include hosting the annual Spring Yard Sale in May, selling bakery items at the annual Remington Festival, and providing baked items for various church events and more!


Our Outreach Venues
As devoted members of REMINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, we are constantly pursuing the calling to be fully devoted followers of Christ. To build a true heaven on Earth, we live life based on the teachings of the Bible, are passionate about prayer and are grounded in spiritual accountability. If you are interested in joining our Church, please reach out. We would love for you to visit us, our Remington Community Garden across the street, our Little Free Pantry, Little Free Fridge, Little Free Veggie Wagon, and Little Library, all put in place to help the community of Remington!
