If you are new to genealogy, working on your family tree or are interested in connecting with other genealogists, please come join us (free!) to discuss how to begin your research, genealogical research standards and best practices, resources, tips and tricks.

You're encouraged to join and get involved in several annual events such as the Chili Cook-Off, Trunk or Treat, Ham Dinners, Remington Town Festival, Annual Spring Yard Sale and other special events. Men's meetings are held at in Fellowship Hall, but Women's meetings are held in their homes. Contact the church office for locations, date, and times.

The Piedmont Lace Guild of Virginia welcomes all who have an interest in lace and lace making in any form. The guild provides instruction in lace making in a calm and friendly environment. All you need is the interest and enthusiasm, we teach you the skills!

Women's meetings are held in members' homes instead of the church. Call the church office to find the location, day, and time.

As devoted members of REMINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, we are constantly pursuing the calling to be fully devoted followers of Christ. To build a true heaven on Earth, we live life based on the teachings of the Bible, are passionate about prayer and are grounded in spiritual accountability. If you are interested in joining our Church, please reach out. We would love for you to visit us, our Remington Community Garden across the street, our Little Free Pantry, Little Free Fridge, Little Free Veggie Wagon, and Little Library, all put in place to help the community of Remington!
